Gretchen Newman named Kinecta's controller Adjust font size: Increase Font Size decrease font size

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. – Gretchen Newman has joined Kinecta Federal Credit Union as controller. She will supervise Kinecta’s Accounting Department and will be responsible for all aspects of the credit union’s financial reporting and general accounting.

“Gretchen has extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting and auditing,” said Karen Christensen, Chief Financial Officer for Kinecta. “In addition, her experience on a credit union board will be beneficial as she oversees our accounting operations.”

Previously, Newman was controller for Decurion Management Co. in Los Angeles, the parent company of Pacific Theatres. Prior to that, she was senior manager of financial reporting and general accounting at Nissan North America and Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp., both in Gardena. She served five years on the Board of Directors of Nissan Federal Credit Union. 

Other experience includes financial and accounting positions at Malaga Bank in Palos Verdes Estates and Deloitte and Touche in Los Angeles.
