KINECTA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION WINS MULTIPLE AWARDS MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. July 10, 2009 – Kinecta Federal Credit Union has received multiple trophies from elite marketing competitions, winning a total of five awards. All of the winning entries were created entirely by the Credit Union’s in-house marketing and design team.
The Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) recognized Kinecta with a Golden Mirror Award for its “iKinect” segmented marketing program. This unique Generation Y program was created to increase penetration of the Credit Union’s 18 to 30 year-old member base by strategically bundling select products and services into a value-added “sticky” product mix.
“The dynamic iKinect brand conveys a sense of empowerment, individuality, innovation, and interaction,” said Rubina Habis, Senior Vice President of Member Services and Marketing. “We’ve been very pleased with members’ positive response to our participation incentives and social networking opportunities.”
The iKinect point-of-purchase banner was also recognized by the Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC). This organization honored Kinecta Federal Credit Union with a total of four silver awards. Included were two for its Green logo and Green Week Campaign, during which the Credit Union offered Green Kinecta-branded reusable shopping totes to members who participated in Kinecta’s eco-friendly services. The sleek and sophisticated Visa® Signature Card design was also among the Silver Award recipients.
