- Secure your email account by changing your password and signing up for multi-factor authentication, if available.
- Do not open, interact or click on any links in the spam emails.
- Check for suspicious activity on financial accounts. This includes changes in your personal account data (email, address), online banking log in attempts from foreign devices and unauthorized transactions.
- Enable multifactor authentication on your financial accounts.
- Contact your financial institutions for assistance in securing your account.
- Report any suspicious or unauthorized activity to your financial institution immediately.

- Start tracking your credit score and access your full credit report in Kinecta’s digital banking. Regularly monitoring your report helps identify any ID theft quickly.
- Book an appointment with a Kinecta representative to review what security features are available to be enabled. Request to add a verbal password to your account.
- With Kinecta’s mobile app, you can enable push notifications so you are instantly alerted to account activity (navigate to Settings under Tools and select Alerts to set up and modify).
- Periodically review your recent login activity in digital banking by navigating to your Profile under Tools and Settings.
- Enable two-factor authentication in digital banking under Tools and Settings, Security.
