Kinecta Federal Credit Union Celebrates International Credit Union Day
El Segundo, Calif. (October 18, 2024) – Kinecta Federal Credit Union joined credit unions around the world on October 17 to celebrate International Credit Union Day. The annual event celebrates credit unions' positive impact on our members, employees and communities. This year marked the 76th anniversary of the event.
Elected officials, community partners and other credit unions joined Kinecta at its Campus location in El Segundo to celebrate their partnership and work to ensure the financial well-being of members. Working with the California Credit Union League (CCUL), local credit unions hosted similar events at seven other locations throughout California. Events were held at Redwood Credit Union in the North Bay, Golden 1 Credit Union in Sacramento, Pacific Service Credit Union, Mosce Federal Credit Union in Modesto, Wescom Credit Union in Pasadena, SchoolsFirst Credit Union in Tustin, and North Island Credit Union in San Diego.
To support credit unions' work, Kinecta has donated $25,000 in 2024 to the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions, whose mission is to bring financial inclusion to millions of people around the world. All attendees received a fundraising pin commemorating the 2024 International Credit Union Day.
