Allied Cultures

Anthony W. nominated Talin K. Here’s the submission: “Talin K. has distributed Dignity Kits (hygiene supplies) to the homeless in Los Angeles for several years now. She regularly passes out essential items to those in need through her nonprofit Allied Cultures. She meets people where they are and cares about helping others.”

South Bay Literacy Council

Mary B. nominated Deborah H. & Marynell H. Here’s the submission: “Deborah H. is nominated for this award based on her tireless work for the Council. Deborah has been with the Council since the late 80's. She is a dedicated long-time tutor, was a past Board member and served as the VP of the ESL program. She's an inspiration to us all!”

King Harbor Youth Foundation

Erika L. nominated Suzanne D. Here’s the submission: “Suzanne works tirelessly to find partners in underserved communities to bring them to the harbor for a day on the water. She cares so much about the children that participate in our programs and is always looking new ways to engage them and give teach them a love for the ocean.”

Los Angeles Mission

Anya R. nominated Angela D. and the Los Angeles Mission. Here's the submission: “Angela D. has been volunteering at a local assisted living down the street from her home once a week, she is a volunteer tour guide in DTLA, she was one of the judges for our local holiday parade, she even teaches Spanish to her neighbor’s kid for free.”

Love Beyond Autism

Almarietha M. nominated Delbra S. and Love Beyond Autism Foundation. Here's the submission: “I am honored to nominate Delbra for community recognition. Her tireless dedication to autism awareness, despite operating her nonprofit without donations for five years, is nothing short of inspiring. Delbra's personal journey as a parent of an autistic child drives her unwavering dedication.”

David F. nominated Lorean W. and Leuzinger High School PTSO. Here's the submission: “The RMC is located in El Segundo and is strong partner with Kinecta. RMC had been has been in operation for over 72 years and their primary fundraiser is a Golf Tournaments that raises money for scholarships for students who wish to proceed an aerospace career.”

Del Aire Elementary PTA

David F. nominated Shenandoah B. and Del Aire Elementary PTA. Here's the submission: “The Del Aire Elementary PTA is SEG partner to Kinecta and each year the PTA raises money organize an Ice Cream Social that highlights and encourages children to peruse the dreams.”

This is her 2nd yr. as President of the PTSO & in this short period of time, she's gone above & beyond for the Parents & Students with multiple events throughout the school year, she’s very deserving of this award!!!”

He fundraises throughout the year in support of educational scholarships, volunteers with local programs and events and supports many other non-profits such SEE International. South Bay Universal Child Development Center

She takes care of children and their families with love and dignity. South Bay Universal Child Development Center (SBUCDC) serves three (3) and four (4) years old low-income children in the city of Hawthorne. The tuition is free.”

Rochester Education and Development for Youth (READY)

Ready has been working hard to help improve the learning process and change the way we teach our students and help more students graduate from Rochester."

Through the organization, she is able to help kids experience various plays, museums and taking them to restaurants they wouldn't ordinarily attend."
