Childrens Miracle Month of May

As part of Kinecta’s continued commitment to making a difference in the communities it serves, the credit union proudly announces it has raised over $23,000 in support of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) during its campaign, Miracle Jeans Month. The funds were raised through generous donations provided by Kinecta's employees and members throughout the month of May. These donations were made online or in their branches. This year, Kinecta is especially excited to receive a $5,000 Co-Op Miracle Match from Co-Op Solutions to boost Kinecta's fundraising efforts to benefit CMNH.
CMNH aims to ensure that every family can receive care at children's hospitals, regardless of their ability to pay. These hospitals rely on donations and community support to bridge funding gaps, enabling them to provide vital medical services to over 10 million children who enter their doors annually. Since 1983, CMNH has raised over $7 billion, primarily through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns, with most donations amounting to just $1 each.
"We are thrilled to have so many of our members and employees participate in supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the important work they do in our communities,” said Latrice McGlothin, Executive Director of Kinecta’s Community Foundation. “This achievement showcases our collective commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children in need. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this great cause and helped us make a difference."
Miracle Jeans Month is one of the many ways Kinecta invests in its communities. During 2022, Kinecta, its subsidiaries and employees donated more than $1.2 million to charitable causes, volunteered over 6,300 hours and participated in over 200 community events.
